Born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1948. He is a graduate from
Sorbonne University, Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes
(Paris) . He is an independent researcher and scholar
specialised in the subject of the history of Jews of Turkey,
conspiracy theories, antisemitism and racism in the
Republican period and life styles of urban classes of
Turkey. He published dozens of articles, book reviews and
contributed to various collective works. He is the author of
6 books : Bir Turklestirme Seruveni (1923-1945),
